FROM START TO FINNISH

As soon as you get there, you will see
You’ll start to feel like a GSE.

A GSE can be funny and clever, with smarts
The sum of the whole is its five equal parts.

DG Harold would be proud to say it out loud
In 555-0 the GSE is the way to go.

One GSE, two GSE, three GSE, four
When you get to five there is no more.

Count four young members and one leader for a team
In Dr. Seuss language, “Make real the dream”.

Four women and one man are going to go
MyrnaKimCam will help make it so.

MyrnaKimcam makes nibblies, blows smoke, and is wise
Guides the team with three pairs of eyes.
Issues an earplugs advisory and advice about baggage,
Not too much or too little, no leakage or saggage.
In the airports be a visible GSE
And you will have no problems you’ll see.

A policewoman, a civil engineer and a teacher,
A businessman who doubles as a preacher.
The museum curator will lead them, ambassadors all,
“From Start to Finnish” will be our call.

Laurel is excited to learn about police training,
Tips about the court system, she’ll be gaining.
She likes to keep active, she’ll keep us in line,
This GSE’er will be on time.

Marty hopped aboard the GSE train with agility.
He’s eager to learn about manufacturing facility.
He’d like to visit plants both large and small,
He basically is ready to see it all!
He’ll watch, he’ll listen, and he’ll analyze everything.
We’ve already dubbed Marty, the Philosopher King.

Catherine is intrigued by water levels and road construction,
How the Finns help to save the planet from destruction.
She has already made an intelligent deduction,
They try to be green in their production.

And Christina hopes to visit a lot of schools,
She’s excited to check out their education rules.
She wants to learn everything from teaching professionals,
Sounds like she’s hoping for true confessionals!

Catherine and Christina are our pseudo twins,
With these two along, everybody wins.

Gailmarie is eager to explore culture and the arts,
How the Finns promote literacy and children’s smarts.
A museum, a bookstore, an opera or a play
She wants to see so much everyday.

We’re eager to represent Rotary, and show
That country, community and service are grand
From “Service Above Self” to “Lend a Hand”.
Each of us is a proud Canadian who cares
And we all believe that “Rotary shares”.

Four women and one man, raring to go!
